The Lapaires, a family of four, sold it all to go cruising on their Leopard 384 Cat Sloop, Maple. Between July 2015 and November 2022 they sailed from the Eastern Mediterranean to the Caribbean, through Panama and then on to the South Pacific. Getting caught out by COVID in French Polynesia, they stayed two years before deciding to head north back to Canada via Alaska.
The Lapaires presentation this month will be the third talk they’ve given in the last couple of years about their worldly travels.This part will cover their 2 years of sailing in the Caribbean.
