Barry and Ann Lange started to sail in 1993 on Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories. In 2005 they left the north to pursue their dream of sailing around the world.
They purchased Cat’s-Paw IV, a Fast Passage 39 that summer, and after a winter season of getting to know her and attending almost every course available from BCA, left Vancouver Island in 2006 to begin their journey. They completed their circumnavigation in 2017.
This presentation is an in-depth look at their Indian Ocean crossing. Join us while they explore deserted atolls and seldom visited islands while they sailed from Thailand to South Africa, experiencing and learning about the food, culture and people of the region.
