Close Quarters Boat Handling

The Bluewater Cruising Association (BCA) and Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club (SNSYC) invite members to a lecture by David Almond on boat handling in close quarters. Aimed primarily at newer skippers but valuable for all sailors, the session will cover key exercises and techniques for managing tight situations such as docking, mooring, and maneuvering under power at low speeds. Participants will learn practical methods and principles to improve control in marinas, mooring fields, and during man-overboard recoveries.

This lecture is only available to BCA and SNSYC members. SNSYC members should register through the club site.
