The second meeting of the Fleet of 2016 was held on October 27 at 1900h at the Scottish Cultural Centre. We had a presentation from Anne Woodson and Dick Towson of Full and Bye on their trip to Mexico. This was followed by Ken and Carol Gillstrom on Safety at Sea – preventing emergencies.
The Fleet Program Committee has arranged the program for the next meeting on November 24. Jeff Cote from Pacific Yacht Systems will present power generation and power storage.
An offshore package was presented to Kevin and Janice McGrath of Aria III who are about to embark on their voyage leaving from Florida.
Again, we have a Fleet committee working on the offshore packages for the next year – a service to the whole of BCA.
At this time we have 26 boats registered – eight of whom are leavers.
