Every month, we take a selection of articles and assemble them into a PDF file. This is useful for our readers who may only get to the internet from time to time in those far-away islands and beautiful harbours, so you can download the file and read it later at your leisure. They are stored at the bottom of the archive page.
If you want to keep up by email, just subscribe using the boxes in the footer. You have three choices.
The Daily or Weekly digests automatically take any items published in the past day or week and send you an email with the introduction and a link to the full article. These are a great way to keep up to date with what is being published and follow anything you are interested in. If nothing has been published that day, you won’t get an email.
The Monthly Newsletter is our Editorial team’s selection of the best items from the past month, with links to the full articles on the website. If you just like to see our top picks, and be reminded about the site each month, this is for you. This email will also contain a link to the most recent monthly PDF file.
Emails only contain text and small images, no big attachments to fill up your mailbox, and you can change your settings or unsubscribe whenever you want from the links at the bottom of each email.
