To all members of BCA! You are invited to join the Vancouver Fleet of 2027, which runs from September 2026 through June 2027. Depending on interest, we may host hybrid meetings, with both Zoom and in-person available at each session. Meetings will be on the last Wednesday of every month, except for December.
The first meeting will be at Spruce Harbour Marina on September 30. Please note that this is a change from the usual location and that subsequent meetings will be at the Scottish Cultural Centre. The meeting will include introductions, a little about your vessel (or dream vessel), your experience and your goals. We’ll also explore the subjects that would be most valuable to you throughout the 2026/2027 sessions.
Fleet is an opportunity to build both relationships and knowledge. Whether you are interested in exploring coastal waters or heading offshore, having a community to learn with and reach out to, enriches the experience and helps build confidence.
Mark your calendars, bring your enthusiasm and take advantage of the opportunity to listen, learn and share.
How to Join
BCA members can join the Vancouver Fleet by registering and paying the Fleet fee of $50 on the BCA website – click here (you will need to sign in). The single fee covers the boat and all crew. If you are part of another BCA Chapter and would like to join us remotely, send me, Rhonda Schuller (fleet coordinator) an email. Zoom will be available.
If you are not a BCA member, consider joining our association! Not only will you be able to join a fleet group, you will get other benefits such as member-pricing on educational courses. We’d love to welcome you aboard!
