Vancouver Hybrid Club Night: Preparing for an Offshore Adventure

The Vancouver Chapter invites BCA members and friends to attend our first club night of the season featuring guest speaker Daniel Sinclair.   A certified Yacht Master Offshore and longtime racer, Daniel will address the  “who, what, when, where and why” of preparing for an offshore adventure.

Daniel has sailed for 50 years and has 113,000 ocean miles under his keel.  He knows what’s needed to race and/or cruise safely having participated in 15 ocean races, often finishing in the top 3. In 2026, he set a new course record for Southern Straits, skippering MACH II to the finish line in just over 10 hours.

Please join us for what will be a stimulating and informative start to another great year of Vancouver club nights.

In-Person Attendees (Check-in and Pay Cash at the door):

• Doors open: 7:00 pm, meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
• Cost: $5/Members, $10/Non-Members.

Virtual Attendees via ZOOM:

• Virtual doors open: 7:00 and meeting starts at 7:30.
• Cost: Members – $5.00 per connected device; Non-Members, $10 per connected device, payable online (see link above).
• Note: Due to the small cost of virtual tickets, and an equal or greater cost to BCA of issuing refunds, no refunds will be issued unless Vancouver Chapter is unable to deliver the Club Night via Zoom.
