Pre-Thanksgiving Rendezvous

Fall is here again and so is the BCA Pre-Thanksgiving Rendezvous at Montague Harbour hosted by the Calgary Chapter!

Featuring the famous Foil Dinner Cook Off  BBQ, a Walk in the Park and the Float What You Can Regatta.

Friday Oct 4

Gather in Montague Harbour, launch your dinghy and visit some old friends or find some new ones. Please fly your BCA pennant and welcome all boarders. John will be arriving Friday evening aboard Bella Maria, courtesy of Neil Watson.

Saturday Oct 5

0945  John will host a roll call from Bella Maria, Channel 68. If already in use look for us on Channel 69.

1000  Please meet ashore by the public dock at the campground. We will take a leisurely stroll together around the park. All ages and critters welcome!

1600  We will begin gathering ashore at the picnic area above the public dock. In the spirit of truth and reconciliation we will acknowledge the original First Nations Inhabitants of the Salish Sea, (instructions ashore.) The BBQs will be lit around 1630ish. Please bring a foil dinner for you and your crew to cook on the BBQ. Anything goes! There will be  fantastic awards for the best appetizer, main and dessert. (Please note, each boat/crew cooks their own, this is not a potluck.)

Sunday Oct 6

1000  Please meet by the dock in your kayak, canoe, dinghy, paddleboard or whatever you can float. The regatta will sail around the peninsula to the North Beach.

Sunday Afternoon: Depart at your leisure. Fair winds and following seas!
