The Icom M802 is the most commonly used marine HF long distance radio. It can be used to broadcast and receive on SSB and ham frequencies for both voice, email and weather data. As a cruiser, you need to know how to properly install and operate this radio to get the most out of it. Learn from Icom M802 expert, experienced cruiser and author Terry Sparks. This course is based on Terry’s excellent book entitled Icom IC-M802 Starting from Scratch. It will cover installation, setup and operation of the radio, including emergency calling. The course includes Terry’s book for reference.
