If you enjoy island hopping with like-minded cruisers and a little friendly competition, the Peterson Cup Cruising Rally, named after former BCA Commodore Lex Peterson, is made for you. This annual week-long event is fun-filled and will build your skills while you enjoy the friendship of BCA members in beautiful Nanaimo and across the Salish Sea to popular destinations such as Lasqueti, Jedidiah and Texada Islands.
The rally begins and ends at Newcastle Island Provincial Marine Park; where it goes in between is mostly determined by the wind and by consensus of the participants. Please note that the August Rendezvous begins the day after the rally ends, also at Newcastle Island.
