VI South Hybrid Club Night - The Pacific Gamble

Not everyone who cruises to Mexico does so under sail! Imagine taking a 36 foot Taiwanese trawler down the west coast of North America to La Paz!

Mark Miele, a retired submariner, and his adventurous partner, Eden Yelland, decided to try it and Mark is keen to tell us about their unexpected challenges and the great rewards of untying their dock lines in Victoria and hopping from port to port in their boat Halcyon I all the way to the Sea of Cortez.

In-Person Attendees: (Register, pay cash at the door)

• Doors open at 7:00 pm, meeting starts at 7:30pm, presentation to immediately follow
• Cost: $5/Member, $10/Non-Member

Virtual Attendees: (Pre-Register)

• Members – $5 per connected device (if signed in)
• Non-Members – $10 per connected device.

Note to Zoom Attendees: Due to the small cost of virtual tickets, and an equal or greater cost to BCA of issuing refunds, no refunds will be issued unless VI Chapter is unable to deliver the Club Night via Zoom. The Zoom room opens at 7pm for social time, with the meeting at 7:30pm and the presentation immediately to follow.
