BCA members Peter McMartin and Connie Morahan will share pictures and stories of their 3,500nm voyage on Cookie Cutter along the west coast of Malaysia and Thailand and east to Malaysian Borneo. Join them as they walk the streets of the historic towns of the Straits Settlements, sail among the limestone islands of Phang-Nga Marine National Park, dive the clear waters of the offshore islands in the Andaman Sea, visit the Sultanate of Brunei, and explore the largest cave in the world.
Connie and Peter have made previous presentations to BCA about their cruise through Indonesia in 2009 and about their passage home via the Philippines and Japan in 2012. This presentation covers the period in between except for land travel in SE Asia. They have cruised the BC coast together for more than 20 years, sailed offshore for 10 years from 2002 to 2012, and are now BCA Fleet Coordinators for Vancouver Island.
