All BCA members in good standing are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday December 4, 2025. Hosted by BCA’s Commodore, David Vincent, the meeting will be held via Zoom, starting at 1930h PST / 2030h MST (Zoom room will open at 1900h PST).
Please demonstrate your commitment to BCA and its future by either registering to attend the AGM (at which point you will receive the Zoom link) or by submitting a proxy if you are unable to attend. As both the primary and associate member are able to vote and count towards quorum, if you have two people on your BCA membership, please ensure both are registered individually. If you are unable to register, please ensure you are logged in and that your membership is up to date.
The business of the AGM will include:
- The adoption of the Minutes of the 2024 AGM
- A review and approval of year-end Financial Statements for 2025
- Operations reports, including from the BCA Secretary, and the Currents and Directory teams
- Elections to the offices of Commodore, Vice Commodore, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chapter Vice Commodores (3)
Call for Nominations: Members interested in any of these positions are invited to submit their names to the Chair of the Nominations Committee, Past Commodore David Mitchell. Click this link for an overview of board positions.
Voting and Proxies: Voting may be done by those attending the AGM or by proxy. The virtual meeting zoom link will be provided when you register for the AGM. You must register via the website prior to 9pm PST on December 3 to attend.
Awards: The AGM will be followed by the announcement of the 2025 BCA Cruising and Service Awards, recognizing members’ cruising achievements and service to BCA.
BCA’s Board of Directors looks forward to hosting the evening. Please show your commitment to the association by making every effort to attend and/or register your vote.
