Dani Tate-Stratton and Toryn Sundstrom

BCA invites all members and their boats to our annual May long weekend rendezvous, hosted by the Vancouver Island Chapter, this time at a new location: Telegraph Harbour Marina on Thetis Island.
Right now, the most important thing is to register with us at BCA prior to May 10 by clicking ‘register here’ on the website. Please ensure you do this, even if you have also contacted the marina (or are planning to anchor out).
Moorage at Telegraph Harbour Marina is now waitlisted. If you would like to enquire about dock space at Telegraph Harbour, click here and fill out the form for moorage, indicating ‘Bluewater Cruising Rendezvous’ in the ‘Rendezvous Name’ field. If space becomes available, they will contact boats on the waitlist in the order that they join.
Anchoring is available in Clam Bay, Preedy Harbour, or (with limited space) Telegraph Harbour itself. There is a dinghy dock at the marina. Other area marinas may have moorage available.
Dates: May 17/18 to 20th. A tentative (and still evolving) schedule is below. Specific times will be confirmed on arrival. As always, all activities are optional, but we look forward to seeing everyone over the weekend! Further details about each event are in your email and on the website.

Please remember to bring all your own plates, cutlery, cups, etc. to all food-related events. In an effort to be as environmentally-friendly as possible, reusable dishes are encouraged. Due to limited space and resources on the Island, we appreciate your help in removing all your own garbage via your vessel. Please also consider emptying your holding tanks and filling your water tanks prior to arrival so that we can do our best to limit our impact on Thetis Island this weekend.
Please register by May 10, and let us know if you have any questions.
