BCA Thanksgiving Rendezvous

Current, prospective and past members of Bluewater Cruising Association, including family and guests, are all welcome to attend BCA’s second (and final) on-the-water event of 2021 on Thanksgiving Weekend, October 9-11.  This year, the Fleet will meet at Montague Harbour, Galiano Island where anchorage and mooring buoys are plentiful. Please fly your BCA burgees with pride from your starboard yardarms.

Hosted by the Calgary Chapter and Rendezvous Watchkeepers Aidan & Elaine, Xiomara, the weekend will be a laid-back opportunity to reconnect with BCA friends, enjoy catching up on summer experiences, discuss boat maintenance projects for the winter and share cruising dreams for 2022.

Highlight of the weekend will be the Great Foil Cook-Off on Sunday afternoon.  Sailors will bring their own foil dinner masterpieces for the BBQ;  amazing prizes provided by the Calgary Chapter will be given for the best appy, main course and dessert.  Recipes will be collected Calgary Vice Commodore, John Kortbeek, for sharing with all participants.
