Calgary Club Night – Sailing with the Ritchie Family

“As inexperienced sailors we made a few mistakes, encountered issues while we grew more comfortable with the cruising lifestyle….  Sailing is repairs in exotic locations!”  

In October of 2003 the Ritchie family purchased a 56’ Maple Leaf Sloop. This started a family adventure beginning with learning how to sail, upgrading the boat and then leaving on a 2 year trip around the Pacific.  Join us for the first Calgary Club Night of 2019 and enjoy an evening with the Ritchies as they talk about some of the issues and adventures they encountered along the way.
