Calgary Club Night – Social Meet and Greet

The Calgary Chapter of  BCA is excited to have opened our Club Nights to the Calgary CanBoat Squadron (formerly the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron) and as such we would like to host our upcoming Club Night  as a social “Get to Know You” show and tell.

We are requesting attendees bring a few digital photos and introduce yourselves and perhaps speak about the photos you’ve brought (format can be a who you are, what do you do when you’re not on the water?, where do you enjoy boating, when do you typically boat, and why you enjoy the boating lifestyle, or why you boat where you boat.)  Any topic you would like to share… perhaps a particularly good ‘onboard’ meal shared with new friends, a favorite anchorage or even a harrowing (or embarrassing) ‘learnings’ story when things didn’t go quite as planned.  In order to meet everyone, please keep your introduction to no more than 5-6 minutes.  Bring 5-6 photos on a jump drive.  We will have a laptop and a projector.

Doors will open at 1800 with an hour for pizza and beverages.  Cash bar.

Our ‘formal’ meeting will commence at 1900.
