Heading south to Mexico, the South Pacific, the Mediterranean, Caribbean? Will and Sarah Curry have distilled a decade of sailing experience on our three successive boats (two monohulls and now a catamaran) into honest and humorous insights. Most notable: yes, the cruising life is as extraordinary as you imagine it to be!
Biography
Will & Sarah hatched a plan to sail to the South Pacific on their very first date! They’ve owned three boats in the past decade: a Beneteau First 405 on which they crossed the Pacific, a Jeanneau SO 43 they cruised extensively in California and Mexico, and now a Leopard 46 catamaran, purchased sight-unseen off Facebook in Greece in 2022. After living the Mediterranean dream, they crossed the Atlantic in the fall of 2024, with their five year old twin boys as “crew”. Their boat, Kaia II of Vancouver, is currently hauled out in Trinidad for the Caribbean hurricane season.

Cost: Members – $5.00 per connected device; Non-Members, $10 per connected device, payable online (see link below). Note: Due to the small cost of virtual tickets, and an equal or greater cost to BCA of issuing refunds, no refunds will be issued unless Vancouver Chapter is unable to deliver the Club Night via Zoom.
