VI Mid-Island BURP

Join the VI Mid-Island Group for an unstructured get-together on Saysutshun/Newcastle Island on September 13. Catch up and socialize with fellow sailors. Newcomers and all sailors are welcome to join us for the day.  We are also inviting Nanaimo Yacht Club members to join us for this event.

A mid-day BBQ will start around noon, but come early and stay late! Bring something to BBQ, your own beverages, and a side-dish to share. We’ll provide disposable dishes, cutlery, napkins, paper towels and DESSERT! We will also have bbq tools and spray. We have the space for the whole day, but you can extend the BURP for as long as you choose on your own.

Arrive by boat, dinghy, or ferry (runs from 9:00 am to 8:45 pm). Come for the day or the weekend. Moorage is on a first-come-first-served basis. If some of your crew are interested in camping, visit camping.bcparks.ca or phone 1-866-788-6243.
