Cetus Research and Conservation Society (CETUS) is a non-profit marine conservation organization, founded in 2005 to address the increasing endangerment of BC’s killer whales due to human activities.

Jacqui Martindale, Marine Safety and Training Coordinator, will provide an overview of different marine mammals seen on the BC coast and their specific behaviours. She will also speak about the regulations regarding boating around marine mammals and explain how Club Night attendees can set a good example for other boaters. Lastly, she will talk about CETUS, the Straitwatch team and the different efforts happening along Vancouver Island.

All BCA members and non-members are welcome to attend this in-person club night.
