VI South Hybrid Club Night: The Lapaires Family Caribbean Adventures

The Lapaires, a family of four, sold it all to go cruising on their Leopard 384 Cat Sloop, Maple. Between July 2015 and November 2022 they sailed from the Eastern Mediterranean to the Caribbean, through Panama and then on to the South Pacific. Getting caught out by COVID in French Polynesia, they stayed  two years before deciding to head north back to Canada via Alaska.

The Lapaires presentation this month will be the third talk they’ve given in the last couple of years about their worldly travels.This part will cover their 2 years of sailing in the Caribbean.

Hybrid Meeting Format: September 24, 2024 

In-Person Attendees (Pay Cash at the door):

• Doors open: 7:00 pm, meeting starts at 7:30 pm, presentation to immediately follow
• Cost: $5/Members, $10/Non-Members

• After you pre-register, you will receive the Zoom meeting invitation by email.
• Members – $5 per connected device (if signed in)
• Non-Members – $10 per connected device.

Note to Zoom Attendees: Due to the small cost of virtual tickets, and an equal or greater cost to BCA of issuing refunds, no refunds will be issued unless VI Chapter is unable to deliver the Club Night via Zoom. The Zoom room opens at 7 pm for social time, with the meeting at 7:30 pm and the presentation to follow.
