This time of year you can get huge packages of food (cookies, chocolates, crackers, etc.) in special seasonal ‘cookie tins’. Go crazy and stock up on them.
Keep the tins to use as Faraday cages, in which you can store smaller portable electronics to protect them from the effects of a nearby lightning strike.
Consumption of the contents can improve morale, as well.
“We need to buy the biggest one so we can get the tin!”
